| Description: | Oversee and prepare plant material for research experiments, educational plant material for class, and maintain plant collections in the PCF greenhouses for the U. of I. at Urbana-Champaign. This is a temporary, full-time, academic professional position. This position may become non-visiting at a later time dependent upon funding and programmatic needs. |
| Requirements: | Requires a B.S. degree in Horticulture, Crop Sciences or a related field, M.S. preferred, with a minimum of three years experience in greenhouse, field or nursery production. Experience in a research and/or educational greenhouse is preferred.Experience with computers is required. Must have or be able to obtain a Illinois Pesticide Public Applicators or Operators License. A driver's license is required. |
